When initially deciding what to study, I was torn between my love of painting and my desire to pursue a more experimental approach to art-making. Studying both Visual Arts and Media Arts together allowed me to combine these passions and opened up a whole new realm of artistic possibilities for my arts practice.

Working mainly in acrylic painting and Interactive robotic sculpture, my artworks are concerned with the intersections between computational media, science, and traditional mediums. My painting major work investigates the relationship between materiality, medium and memory, while my Media Arts major work explores artificial-intelligence, play and interaction.
