I came into this degree in order to become an art teacher, upon graduating I will have explored textiles, drawing and found a passion for sculpture.
I have chosen to major in sculpture for the opportunity to develop a hands on approach. I am driven by wood and found objects, which I believe relates back to my country routes, while also allowing me to explore my passion for abstraction.
My final semester has seen me represent my struggle with dyslexia.
All of this has unwrapped a greater love for art than initially expected, whilst adding to what I can pass on as a teacher.
