For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed creating ‘things’. Whether it was decorations for my bedroom, revamping furniture, creating jewellery, constructing houses for mice or simply a poster for a school assignment, it was not unusual for me to spend hours in my own little world making. It is this immersive aspect that I love about design as well as its flexible nature, it is a fundamental component of numerous creative pursuits.
It is evident that our current position of global connectivity produces a climate where those in the creative field are increasingly required to possess multidisciplinary skills. This is an exciting prospect for me and I hope to become a designer that is a dynamic creative.
